G. K. Naiir, Director & Chief Promoter

G. K. Naiir, a Chartered Accountant and a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (FCA), is the Chief Promoter and Director of Acquarius. His major role at Acquarius is that of leadership through strategic planning, business development, development of clientele network and supervision of effective execution.

With two decades of experience in the field of corporate finance ranging from fund raising, fund management, mergers, overseas and domestic acquisitions, he set up Acquarius Capstorm Ltd. His vision is to provide strategic, intelligent and transparent financial guidance to varied clients, leveraging his very well network with the banking sector Private / Public / Foreign Banks. As a Financial Consultant, he had his first stint as V. P. Finance at the LKP Merchant Financing Limited - a listed Public Limited Company and lasted for over a decade. At LKP, he was actively involved in corporate finance, debt syndication, merchant banking and accounts for the company. During his tenure, his involvement included the entire fund based and fee based services of the company.

Post LKP, he was an Executive Director with Gitanjali Gems Limited, a listed Public Limited Company, which is a part of the Gitanjali Group of Companies. His role though the 11 year stint at Gitanjali was to ensure adequate funding from the banking sectors and the capital market through IPO and FCCBs & GDRs through international markets. His dedicated involvement in various strategic planning, structuring and implementation for the companys financial growth, paved the way for domestic & international acquisitions for the Group.

Upen Shah, Director & COO

Upen Shah, a Chartered Accountant is the Chief Operating Officer of Acquarius Capstorm Ltd. He oversees operations, HR & Client Servicing functions, while exploring new horizons in structuring services. Debt Syndication is his speciality. Prior to joining Acquarius, he was VP Finance in Gitanjali Gems Limited, a listed Public Limited Company, a part of the Gitanjali Group.

He began his career as an Accountant in Gitanjali in 1996 and was elevated to the position of VP-Finance in less than a decade. During his tenure he was a core team member for corporate planning & structuring including mergers & acquisitions. He held Directorships in various Group Companies including some of the Subsidiary Companies of Gitanjali Gems Ltd. He was instrumental in successful completion of IPO, FCCBs and GDRs and has effectively handled accounts, taxation, finance and banking related functions including fund and forex management for the group.

Anita Nair Director

Anita Nair, a Commerce Graduate from Mumbai University has been managing day-to-day administration of the Company. She is a committed professional with extra-ordinary dedication, expertise and experience combined with her in-depth knowledge of the business. She is in-charge of human resources and other management activities of the company.
